Wedding Budget Spreadsheet

Every cost, one spreadsheet.

The difference between a budget and a spreadsheet is the line items. This tracker gives you a row for every major cost — download it, open it in Excel or Google Sheets, and update it as you spend.

The tracker

Category, item, planned amount, and notes for each cost.

MiscellaneousTransport and stay—Guest pickups and rooms
MiscellaneousContingency fund—Keep ~10% unallocated

How to use the spreadsheet

Download the CSV and open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers. Replace the planned amounts with real figures as you book vendors. Add extra rows for smaller costs — mehendi, gifts, welcome kits, and gratuities tend to appear as the planning advances.

Two tips: record the deposit and the balance separately for each vendor, and keep your total visible at the top of the sheet so you always know how much is committed versus remaining.

When you are ready to move beyond spreadsheets, the Vowably planner does this automatically and syncs it with your tasks and guests.
